So an article came out in the washington post claiming that assesments were made in 2003 that foretold events currently going on in Iraq. The two assessments, titled "Principal Challenges in Post-Saddam Iraq" and "Regional Consequences of Regime Change in Iraq," were produced by the National Intelligence Council. This is big because this only further proves the point that the U.S. was warned in advance by many intellectuals and government officials about the repercussions in Iraq but neglected to follow the advice. Thats what happens when you let the fact youre a superpower get in the way of clear judgement.
