Iran has finally decided to reopen its egyptian embassy after many years. Iran originally severed ties with egypt in 1980 because of their recognition of israel as a state, stating that they would no longer acknolwedge egypt as an islamic country of influence. This is a positive step for Iran and Egypt as well, giving iran a stronger support system especially at this time is very important and smart on Ahmenijads part.
